KangarooPost provides logistics and shipment-management services that may include:
- pickup and transportation;
- long-distance shipment coordination;
- hub-based processing and routing;
- shipment tracking and status updates;
- temperature and humidity monitoring where applicable;
- packaging and condition checks;
- coolant or ice-pack renewal where arranged;
- exception management;
- customs-clearance coordination;

- coordination of final-mile delivery.
The services provided for a particular shipment will depend on the service requested, route, shipment requirements, carrier availability, and any written arrangements with the client.
2. Shipment Information
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipment information, including sender and recipient details, shipment contents, weight and dimensions, declared value, handling requirements, temperature or other environmental requirements, customs information where applicable, and any information required by law or by a transportation provider.
KangarooPost may rely on information provided by the client, shipper, consignee, or other authorized party.
3. Packaging and Shipment Preparation
Unless KangarooPost has expressly agreed to provide packaging services, the shipper is responsible for ensuring that goods are appropriately packaged, labelled, and prepared for transportation.
Where a shipment requires special handling, temperature management, monitoring, or other conditions, those requirements must be communicated to KangarooPost before shipment.
KangarooPost may refuse or pause a shipment where packaging, documentation, or handling conditions are not suitable for transportation.
4. Condition-Sensitive Shipments
KangarooPost may provide additional services for shipments with defined handling requirements, including temperature and humidity monitoring, condition checks, and intervention at designated logistics hubs.
Where agreed, services may include temperature or humidity monitoring, review of sensor data, packaging-condition checks, coolant or ice-pack renewal, documented hub events, and exception notification or intervention.
Sensor availability, transmission, network connectivity, device performance, and other factors may affect the completeness or timing of monitoring data.
5. Third-Party and Last-Mile Carriers
KangarooPost may use independent transportation providers to complete portions of a shipment journey.
The appropriate last-mile carrier may be selected by KangarooPost in consultation with the client, taking into account destination, service level, shipment characteristics, handling requirements, cost, and carrier availability.
KangarooPost may continue to provide tracking, status visibility, coordination, and exception support after the handoff, but KangarooPost does not control the operations of the third-party carrier and is not responsible for its independent acts, omissions, delays, delivery decisions, or service failures.
Third-party carriers may include national, regional, postal, courier, or other delivery networks selected for the particular shipment.
6. Handoffs and Chain of Custody
Where multiple transportation providers are involved, KangarooPost may coordinate and document shipment handoffs.
A change in transportation provider does not necessarily mean that KangarooPost is the carrier performing every portion of the transportation.
Shipment records may include pickup events, hub events, tracking milestones, photographs, monitoring information, handoff records, exceptions, and delivery confirmation where available.
7. Customs and Cross-Border Shipments
Where requested, KangarooPost may assist with customs documentation, customs-clearance coordination, and communication with carriers, brokers, customs authorities, or other service providers.
The shipper remains responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information relating to the goods being transported and for ensuring that the shipment is legally permitted to enter or leave the applicable jurisdiction.
KangarooPost does not guarantee customs clearance or clearance within a particular timeframe.
Customs authorities, government agencies, brokers, or carriers may request additional information, inspect a shipment, assess duties or taxes, or delay or refuse entry.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the client is responsible for applicable duties, taxes, government charges, brokerage charges, and other import or export costs.
8. Restricted and Prohibited Goods
Clients must not tender goods that are prohibited by law or by the applicable transportation provider.
Certain goods may require advance approval, special packaging, documentation, permits, or transportation arrangements.
KangarooPost may refuse, hold, return, or discontinue transportation of a shipment where we reasonably believe that it contains prohibited or undeclared goods, creates a safety risk, does not comply with applicable requirements, has inadequate packaging or documentation, or cannot be transported using the requested service.
9. Delivery
Clients are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and ensuring that the recipient can receive the shipment where required.
Estimated pickup, transit, and delivery times are estimates unless KangarooPost has expressly agreed in writing to a guaranteed service.
Delivery may be affected by circumstances including carrier operations, weather, transportation disruptions, customs processing, recipient availability, incorrect addresses, government action, or other circumstances beyond KangarooPost’s reasonable control.
10. Tracking and Status Information
Tracking and shipment-status information is provided for convenience and operational visibility.
Information may originate from KangarooPost systems, sensors, logistics hubs, third-party carriers, or other service providers.
Tracking information may occasionally be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of delivery time or shipment condition.
11. Rates and Additional Charges
Rates are based on the shipment information and service requirements provided at the time of quotation or booking.
Additional charges may apply where shipment details differ from those originally provided or where additional services are required, including address corrections, additional handling, storage, return transportation, customs or brokerage services, duties and taxes, remote-area delivery, redelivery, coolant renewal or special handling, and charges imposed by third-party transportation providers.
12. Loss, Damage and Claims
Any loss, damage, or delivery claim should be reported to KangarooPost as soon as reasonably possible.
Where loss or damage occurs while a shipment is in the custody of a third-party carrier, the claim may be subject to that carrier’s claims process, liability limits, declared-value provisions, and applicable transportation terms.
KangarooPost will reasonably assist clients in identifying the applicable carrier and supporting available claim documentation.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KangarooPost will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from a shipment or the use of our services.
KangarooPost is not liable for delays, losses, damages, or service failures caused by a third-party transportation provider, customs or government authorities, incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the client, inadequate packaging, prohibited or undeclared goods, acts or omissions of the sender or recipient, or circumstances outside KangarooPost’s reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
14. Client Responsibilities
By using KangarooPost, the client confirms that it has the authority to tender the shipment and agrees to comply with applicable laws and transportation requirements.
The client is responsible for ensuring that shipment contents, documentation, packaging, declarations, and instructions are accurate and appropriate.
15. Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with shipments and KangarooPost services will be handled in accordance with the KangarooPost Privacy Policy.
Information may be shared with carriers, customs brokers, government authorities, logistics partners, recipients, and other service providers where reasonably necessary to complete the shipment or comply with legal requirements.
